I think it is time to go shopping for yet again more clothes. This time I might go somewhere cheaper. Maternity clothes are expensive. :(
Hi all, this blog used to be called Baby Murray, that's before Baby Murray became Jillian :) My first child, a daughter was born on April 27th, 2007. So far this was the happiest and scariest day of my life. This blog is all about my life. I hope you enjoy.

Do you know anyone who has just had a baby? Maybe you can get some hand-me-downs.
No they aren't! That's one thing I've found out is that they can be really afforable. Try JC Penney's, Target, Old Navy, Kohl's and Motherhood Maternity. Get a few key pieces and mix and match. That's what's worked for me so far. I just got a top from JCP the other day for $10 that started out at $36! Same thing at Kohl's. Tops for $12 that started out at $34.
Thanks for the advice :)
If you're not averse to secondhand stores, you might look around for resale shops that are specifically for children.Children's Orchard is one. They have stores all over but the closest I find to you is in Illinois so that one may be out. Here's the link, anyway:

Kim got a ton of stuff from their location near her when she had #2. She still regularly shops there and takes thigns to consign- you save even more $ that way! And I bet they have maternity clothes, too!
;) Here are the Ohio search results for locations for Pixie ;)

Hi Jen! LOL! I see you're talking about me behind my back. ;)
Audrey, I agree with Jen. See if you can find some resale shops around your area. Children's Orchard just has children's clothing though. But make sure you go there to get clothes and accessories. I think they give you an automatic 30% off of all clothes from newborn till 1 year. That's great because babies grow like crazy. Plus with this being your first, you'll have a shower and get lots of gifts too.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE consignment shops. That's all I shop. It's an illness! LOL!
Hi, Kim! I was wondering when you were gonna chime in! Thanks! I know you know more about it than I do!
